MWR Solicitors announced as headline sponsor of Lancashire Sports Awards

MWR Solicitors has signed up as one of the main sponsors of the Lancashire Sports Awards 2010. The awards recognise those that show dedication to perform at the highest level in community sport and those who work tirelessly to support individuals or clubs for the love of sport.

The firm will also support the Community Club of the Year award through its Funds4Clubs scheme. Launched in May this year, the scheme aims to support local sport and recreation in the community, providing clubs and other organisations with much needed funds in return for members using their services.

Jane Booker, partner at MWR Solicitors said: “MWR is committed to investing in our communities. We currently sponsor the Preston Sports Awards and we are naturally delighted to extend this to the Lancashire Sport Awards, which reward a group of special people.”

The awards will take place on Friday, November 26, at The Paradise Room, Pleasure Beach Resort, Blackpool, from 6:30pm.
