20 February 2004

A top Preston law firm has once again been recognised for its commitment to service and quality through the internationally acknowledged standards programme, ISO.

MWR Solicitors, which employs 60 staff at its office on Cannon Street, Preston, has been approved to the new BS EN ISO 9001 standard, which signifies its commitment to providing legal services of the highest quality.

The firm, which is regionally recognised for its work in personal injury claims, employment law, conveyancing and wills and probate was first approved in 1995, and again in 1998 and 2001.

To achieve its latest approval to the new revamped standard, MWR was subjected to external examination of its working practices, including its commitment to carrying out a rigorous client satisfaction programme, which is acted upon to achieve continuous improvement.

Managing partner, Peter Meloy, commented: “The ISO programme has been crucial in our mission to improve the standard of our legal services and client care. The firm is delighted to have passed the latest accreditation, which is down to the hard work, skill and commitment of everyone at the firm.

“Approval to this standard demonstrates the involvement of top management with our quality policies and our commitment to client satisfaction and continual improvement.”
