Lancashire law firm has va va voom

LEADING Lancashire law firm MWR has put a local sports team in pole position after sponsoring the Double Six Racing team in the Clio Cup Championship races 2006.
The firm has pledged its support to the Leyland based squad for a full season during which driver Marc Nelson will compete across the country behind the wheel of his Renault Clio Cup car.
MWR, whose headquarters are in Cannon Street, Preston, is also sponsoring the Official Clio Cup Scholarship which gives budding speed kings the chance to win a full season of racing in the new Renault Clio Cup car.
Jane Booker, partner at MWR, said: “We have a history of supporting local sports stars and it is exciting for everyone at the firm to play a part in their future success. We have high hopes for the team in their first year of competition and look forward to watching them achieve their dreams.
Welcoming the sponsorship Marc said: “Our team will be competing in the ELF Renault Clio Cup Championship which supports the British Touring Car Championship throughout England and the Renault World Series event held at Donington Park. This will give us and MWR fantastic national exposure and we are really grateful they chose to sponsor a local team.”
