PRESTON law firm MWR Solicitors has appointed trainee solicitor and former world champion brass musician, Jessica Bowman, to its expanding legal team.
Jessica, 22, joins the firm after completing her legal practice course at the College of Law Chester. Prior to this, Jessica gained an LLB Hons Degree from the University of Liverpool, during which time she completed two summer’s work experience at the Crown Prosecution Service and one summer working at a local firm in Bolton.
As well as being a talented brass musician, Jessica has represented the England hockey team at junior level winning 24 caps as a goalkeeper.
Jessica said: “I’m enthusiastic about the prospect of working for such a modern law firm that is so full of history.”
Jessica will spend time across every department which includes employment law, personal injury, conveyancing and wills and probate.
