MWR makes new appointment

MWR Solicitors is welcoming new trainee solicitor, Omara Beg, to the expanding Preston-based law firm.

Omara, 22, joins the firm after completing her legal practice diploma at Lancashire Law School. Previously, she studied for her law degree at the University of Central Lancashire where she also worked in the university’s legal advice clinic. Omara, born and raised in Preston, will complete a training contract at MWR which lasts for two years and will enable her to become a qualified solicitor.

Throughout her training Omara will be working in all the departments of the firm and initially, will be reporting to Annette Thompson, a partner at MWR.

Annette said: “We are going through an intense period of recruitment at the moment as the firm gets busier and busier. Omara is very talented and I am positive that she will prove to be a great asset to the firm.”

Omara said: “I am very enthusiastic about joining such a well respected law firm and I aim to contribute to the continued success and growth of the firm.”
