Grand prize for racing driver

PRESTON law firm, MWR Solicitors, has helped a promising racing driver fulfill his dream of forging a career in motor sport.
Northampton-based, Andrew Bentley, 25, won the MWR Double Six Racing Official Clio Cup Scholarship competition after finishing in the top four of every round of the competition. He drives away with the prize of a season’s racing with Leyland-based racing team, Double Six, a prize worth over £50,000.
Andrew will join the Double Six Racing team for the start of the 2007 Clio Cup Championship as the 44th driver on the grid.
Andrew said: “To win this prize is quite simply life changing. I have worked hard to achieve my goals but a lack of finance has always prevented me from fulfilling my potential.
“The support of Double Six Racing and MWR Solicitors has given me an opportunity to prove myself and indeed vindicate their decision to choose me as their driver.”
Jayne Raven, marketing manager at MWR, said: “The firm is committed to supporting sports clubs and individuals to help them progress and develop. It was a fantastic competition and Andrew is a worthy winner. We wish him all the best for the 2007 season.”
